Boggy Creek Monster Festival (AR)
The 2026 Boggy Creek Monster Festival will be held in Fouke, Arkansas from March 27, 2026 thru March 29, 2026. It’s a weekend of family-friendly fun, local entertainment, and a touch of regional legend celebrating the Boggy Creek Monster.
Festivities kick off Friday, March 27, with gates opening at 10 a.m. and remaining open until 10 p.m. Admission is $5 per day. Attendees can enjoy a variety of vendors, games, attractions, bounce houses, and hourly prize giveaways throughout the day.
Friday evening will include four guest speakers:
- 4pm: Chris Kitchens, author of Elusive Peace, a creature novel
- 5pm: Chris Grizzly, host of the BigFoot OutLaw Podcast
- 6pm: Joseph Johnson, actor, writer, and Bigfoot Search Team member
- 7pm: Dave Rogers, preacher and field researcher known in the community as SuperDave a.k.a. Sasquatch
Afterwards a special outdoor screening of the newly released film BogMan will be shown. The night will continue with a Boggy Creek Monster-themed bonfire storytelling session, complete with special guest appearances.
The festival continues Saturday, March 28, with gates open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Organizers have planned a full schedule of activities, including hourly prize drawings, scavenger hunts led by local Boy Scouts, and live entertainment throughout the day. Also don’t miss out on the 1pm Boggy Creek Battle Royale, presented by Hype and Glory Wrestling and the 2:30pm Crowning of Miss Boggy Creek 2026!
Speaking of the Boy Scouts, Troop #11 built a bridge without any nails, screws, or bolts. Just rope and poles. It will be on display at the festival. Good thing this is a Boggy Creek Monster festival and not a Mothman festival. Otherwise that bridge will mysteriously collapse.
There’s also a Saturday night after party with a $10 admission featuring two live bands: From Nothing (heavy metal and rock) and Caleb Wincher (red dirt country).
A variety of additional attractions such as bounce houses, bingo with prizes, hayrides, a petting zoo, unveiling of a new Bigfoot Barn mural, and photo opportunities with the Boggy Creek Monster will also be available.
Selfies with Boggy Creek Monster will get you places in certain social circles.
The weekend will wrap up Sunday morning with a service beginning at 9 a.m..
If you’re looking for a place to stay, just a 18 mile drive from The Boggy Creek Monster Festival location, The Hampton Inn has partnered to give you BigFoot Discounts at their hotel at 5302 Crossroads Parkway Texarkana Arkansas.
