Now I want to quit my full time job to become a professional felter. \nSunday includes a Cryptid Scavenger Hunt\, Cryptid Pet Costume Contest and Bigfoot hunts.  This could be a potential girlfriend first date kind of day! \nThroughout the weekend\, enjoy a Cryptid-themed Art Walk through your favorite Fayetteville businesses\, with special stops\, themed displays\, and surprises along the way. Shops\, galleries\, and community spaces will embrace the strange and unusual as downtown transforms into a playful celebration of West Virginia’s most mysterious creatures.

A guided field experience will lead guests into the darkness listening and looking for any traces of Bigfoot!  Make sure to bring your very out of focus camera in case you spot Bigfoot or some other cryptid! \nSaturday night brings a spooky evening exploring the eerie history of the Old Russell County Courthouse. You’ll tour the property listening for creaks and groans that might come from the floorboards below.
