Book Launch Release Party – Lesser Cryptids Of Greater Appalachia (WV)

The Lesser Cryptids Of Greater Appalachia Book Release Party will be held in Huntington, West Virginia on March 12, 2026. Cicada Books will be hosting the release party from 5pm – 7pm to celebrate the release of their new book ‘Lesser Cryptids Of Greater Appalachia’. The book is a folk horror anthology featuring local and regional writers, published by Brood XIV Books.

“It’s an evening of eerie readings, giveaways lurking in unexpected places, and book signings with the brave souls who captured these legendary beasts on the page,” the release states.

Attendees will be able to meet anthology contributors and other local paranormal authors, including Stephen Bias, JD Byrne, Eden Crowe, Amanda Hooser. “Check the tree line. Scan the shadows.
