Coffee, Campfires and Cryptids (GA)

Coffee, Campfires and Cryptids will be held in Marietta, Georgia on September 18, 2026. This event offers as you might expect: coffee, campfires, and cryptids. The event will take place at Atherton Square starting at 6pm and is hosted by the City of Marietta’s Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department.

Guests will gather around a glowing campfire to hear stories of Bigfoot sightings in the North Georgia mountains, sea monsters near Savannah, and tales of the Wendigo and Mothman. The evening brings together storytelling, fun activities, and a few frights.

Attendees can sip on coffee, hot chocolate or enjoy a beverage from one of the local restaurants. In addition to storytelling, the night includes crafts, vendors, and even a screening.

This event is free and family-friendly, making it the perfect outing for fans of tall tales, eerie myths, and a good marshmallow roast. Bring your lawn chairs and curiosity. Maybe bring a can of Off as well. Just in case Mothman shows up.
